These 60-minute workshops are designed to help you build confidence in your library and research skills. We’ll explore both print and online tools, and you’ll get a helpful overview of the library’s services and resources.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to:

  • Find and access different types of library and information sources

  • Spot scholarly, peer-reviewed articles

  • Search subject-specific databases and advanced online tools

  • Conduct effective research on the web

  • Evaluate information for credibility

  • Cite your sources in MLA or APA

  • Understand how proper citation helps you avoid plagiarism

You’ll walk away with practical skills that make your research assignments more straightforward, quicker, and a lot less stressful.

Ask your professor about possible extra credit!
