Amp Up Your Google Scholar Skills Workshop (online) Online

This workshop is held in Zoom. Sign up for the session below. The link will be emailed out in a reminder email 1 hour before the workshop.

In our 60-minute Google Scholar workshop, students will learn how to utilize advanced search techniques, citation management tricks, and connect Google Scholar to the OCC Library to navigate scholarly literature. Additionally, we will discuss scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals, peer review, the intricacies of article structures, the basics of reading scholarly content, ways to determine credibility of scholarly articles, and ways to stay updated on recent publications.

This is a specialized workshop. If you want extra credit for this workshop, please make sure your instructor will accept this workshop.
